Our Story

We built Retrevia because we lived what happens when you get your discoverability right, and we watched what happens when you don't.

Retrevia Advisory is co-founded by Beth Mazza and Angie Kaminky, an aunt and niece who, between them, have spent 40 years building, operating, and exiting professional services firms. Beth has done it twice. She founded Ashton Partners and saw it acquired by FTI Consulting. She then co-founded Clermont Partners, a professional services firm she scaled to a mid-eight-figure valuation, and saw it acquired by Riveron, a national advisory firm. Two exits. Two firms built from scratch.

Angie didn't just watch from the outside. She worked every function at Clermont, including marketing, sales, operations, technology, and new product development, through its acquisition.

She knows what it takes to build the kind of infrastructure that makes a firm attractive, scalable, and ultimately sellable.

Together, Beth and Angie have worked across boutique, national, and global consulting firms. We understand the economics, the culture, and the pressure that founder-led firms operate under. That context is what Retrevia was built on.

Angie Kaminky, Co-Founder

Angie Kaminky is the co-founder of Retrevia Advisory, an AI strategy and growth systems consultancy for founder-led professional services firms. She spent 8 years in consulting focusing on SEO, digital strategy, and growth, and now works with firms that are ready to become discoverable in a search landscape that has shifted completely. B2B buyers now start with ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, arenas where most professional services don't show up at all. That's the problem Retrevia was built to solve. Before founding Retrevia, Angie led marketing, SEO, strategy, operations, and partnerships at Clermont Partners, a boutique consulting firm that built an online presence rivaling firms 10x its size. Clermont was later acquired by Riveron, a national advisory firm, where Angie served as Managing Director. Angie approaches every engagement with an operator's lens. She's run a consulting business through its sale and she's been a founder. She knows what it costs to make the wrong hire, run the wrong strategy, or invest in the wrong channel. That shapes how Retrevia works: a measurable increase in leads and time saved across the firm.

Beth Mazza, Co-Founder

Beth Mazza is the co-founder of Retrevia Advisory and one of the few consultants who has actually built, scaled, and exited the kind of firm she now helps clients grow. She co-founded Clermont Partners, a professional services firm she scaled to a mid-eight-figure valuation, and saw it acquired by Riveron, a national advisory firm. Before that, she founded Ashton Partners, which was acquired by FTI Consulting. Two exits. Two firms built from scratch. With more than 30 years advising industry-leading brands, Beth brings an operator's lens to every Retrevia engagement. She has seen firsthand how the right growth infrastructure, positioning, content, and discoverability translates directly into firm value at the time of a sale. At Retrevia, Beth leads client strategy and brings her exit experience directly to bear on how firms position themselves for growth and, when the time comes, for acquisition. She also co-founded Female Mavericks, a platform helping women entrepreneurs scale to seven figures, and is the co-author of Entrepreneur Like a Mother. Beth has been featured in Forbes and recognized by Crain's Chicago Business and PR Week as a 40 Under 40 honoree.
